Learn about user experience settings in eDiscovery (preview)
User experience settings in eDiscovery (preview) allow you to select the eDiscovery portal experience options available in the Microsoft Purview portal. For a limited time, you can choose to enable the classic eDiscovery experience found in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal in the Microsoft Purview portal. These options determine the workflow, tools, and information you'll see when working with eDiscovery. These options apply only to the eDiscovery experience in the Microsoft Purview portal.

Choose one the following and select Save to configure the eDiscovery experience in the Microsoft Purview portal:
- Compliance portal classic eDiscovery experience
- Modernized new experience (preview)
- Show both experiences
